Near Yundum, the Gambia is Good Farm Yard is the public face of a socially engaged marketing company that has, since 2004, helped over 1000 poor (and mostly female) farmers sell the produce of their small agricultural farms. On a visit, you can learn about the farmers' horticultural techniques, attend cookery classes (minimum of four people, per person US$19) and taste an organic Gambian stew in the restaurant (US$9 including tour).
