Trick Eye Museum

The concept of the Trick Eye Museum originated in Korea, although they now feature within various cities across Asia. The Hong Kong Trick Eye Museum is located within the Peak Galleria on Hong Kong Island. It’s a fun and interactive attraction that incorporates 3D artwork and optical illusions for visitors to marvel at and get involved with.
The museum has around 50 optical illusions – both paintings and installations – within five differently themed zones. These include: Secret Garden, World of Masterpieces, Great Adventure, Neverland, and Hong Kong Discovery. Visitors are encouraged to interact with the artwork and use their imaginations to create unusual scenes, not to mention some unique photo opportunities.
To differentiate Hong Kong’s 3D museum from other Trick Eye museums, there are many pieces here that depict local culture and attempt to capture the essence of Hong Kong. There’s one exhibit that incorporates the Tsing Ma Bridge and another of the old airport in Kowloon City. The Big Buddha is here too, along with Hong Kong’s dazzling cityscape at night, complete with romantic paper boat to sail away on.
