Bahu Fort

TIME : 2016/2/17 13:08:30

On the modest hilltop across the River Tawi from the main city, Bahu Fort is a series of low, completely renovated 19th-century walls enclosing a much revered Kali temple. The lawn outside the fort covers a subterranean aquarium which is entered through the gaping mouth of a giant carp. Matador route 108 terminates near the fort but finding your way in from there requires passing through a minor labyrinth of hawkers' stalls flogging souvenirs, snacks and religious paraphernalia.
