Mt Kan-Irag
The natural wonder of Mt. Kan-Irag can be easily reached from Cebu City, and in fact sits just within the boundaries of the city limits. This imposing peak stands at approximately 700 meters above sea level and is a popular and accessible mountain for trekking.
The summit can be easily reached in around 30 minutes via an undemanding trail that starts from Ayala Heights in Busay. The Budlaan trail is a more challenging option that will see advanced trekkers traversing the seven-tiered Kabang Falls, passing through the Budlaan River, scrambling boulders, and negotiating rocky paths along the way. This scenic journey takes around four hours to complete and trekkers are rewarded with 360-degree views over the city on arrival at the summit. Practical Info
Mt. Kan-Irag is easily reached from Cebu city center. If taking the longer and more challenging trail, trekkers should leave early in the day to allow plenty of time to ascend and descend before nightfall. Alternatively, some people choose to camp overnight at the top.
