Emperor Valley Zoo

TIME : 2016/2/18 15:40:44

Just north of Queen’s Park Savannah is the 2.5-hectare Emperor Valley Zoo, which opened in 1952. Though small, the zoo has some interesting residents, including indigenous red howler monkeys, ocelots and various snakes including an anaconda found in central Trinidad. A newly landscaped section holds sea otters, flamingos and a butterfly park, while giraffes, warthogs and Bengal tigers are the newest residents.
