Zlatni Rat Beach

Zlatni Rat Beach

Looking down from above, Zlatni Rat Beach is a magnificent sight – an arrow-shaped sliver of white pebble beach and emerald-green pine groves stretching out into the azure-blue ocean. The narrow, sandy promontory has long been the go-to postcard image for Brac Island and it’s easily the island’s most popular beach, aptly nicknamed the ‘Golden Horn’.
Zlatni Rat’s unique location is its biggest asset, with the spit surrounded by ocean and changing shape with the tides, and a backdrop of lush forest and craggy peaks. A protected natural area, as well as a public beach, Zlatni Rat makes a good choice for swimming, snorkeling and windsurfing, as well as an idyllic spot to watch the sunset.

Practical Info

Zlatni Rat Beach is located on the south coast of Brac Island, 2km west of Bol.
