The starkly white, 15th-century Báthory Castle is a small fortified palace with a striking 2nd-storey loggia. The building is mostly used as a conference centre, but a couple of rooms are outfitted in Renaissance style. Also here is the Báthory Panoptikum, with 45 wax figures tracing the history of Nyírbátor and the Báthory family.
