Gardaland Park

Gardaland sits on the eastern flanks of Lake Garda and combines an amusement park and two hotels with a Sea Life Aquarium; it opened in 1975 and is the foremost family-orientated attraction in northern Italy. With more than 30 rides offering anything from dizzying drops on Space Vertigo to the very gentlest of carousels for kids, Gardaland will happily keep the whole family entertained all day. Among the flume and rapids rides, the 4D adventures, the spectacular musical and light shows in the Art Deco Gardaland Theatre and the speediest, bendiest of roller coasters, the newest addition to the attractions is The Black Hole, Italy’s first ‘dive’ roller coaster, which opened in early 2015. At Sea Life, sharks, manta rays and turtles flit overhead through enormous aquariums; feeding sessions offer interaction with the sharks; and entertaining movies showcase the underwater mysteries of Lake Garda.
A monorail scoots around the perimeter of the park to take footsore toddlers to their next adventure and the range of eating opportunities serves families well, from fast-food stands offering burgers and pizza to themed restaurants serving up lasagna and seafood.
