Offering respite from the sun, this park is equipped with restrooms, outdoor showers and picnic tables. Winter months are when the North Shore is at its highest surf-wise and locals dominate the surf spot here known as Pine Trees . The shore break is harder here than any other spot on Hanalei Bay and swimming is dangerous, except during the calmest summer surf.
