Where industry once fumed, glassy condos now rise in the thin walkable strip of Belltown. The neighborhood gained a reputation for trend-setting nightlife in the 1990s and two of its bar-clubs, the Crocodile and Shorty's, can still claim legendary status. Then there are the restaurants – over 100 of them – and not all are prohibitively expensive.
