Set high on the river bluffs, this striking melted-steel and glass edifice, easily the most singular architectural achievement in Tennessee. Oh, and their 19th- and 20th-century art collection is fantastic. Permanent exhibits are free the first Sunday of the month (special exhibits cost $5).
