Ripley's Moving Theater

Ripley's Moving Theater

At the top of Clifton Hill at Niagara Falls, Ripley’s Moving Theater shows two family movies in 4D. The two short cartoons, Winter Wipeout and Rats Race, play in a loop throughout the day, and with six-channel digital surround sound and added physical effects and motion simulators, the experience takes you a level deeper than your regular 3D movie.
In Winter Wipeout, you’ll really feel the wind blow and snowflakes fall down as you follow the snowmen racing down a steep mountain on inner tubes. As they race, your chair will dip and turn in time with the movie so that you can feel like you’re part of the snow scene.
After a short intermission, put your seatbelt back on for Rats Race the movie, and feel your chair bump and shake in time with the movie as you car races round a house with tiny rats. As the virtual reality simulator whooshes you around in eight different ways, mist and rain will spray from the ceiling for the true 4D experience.
