A Grand Voyage with MSC cruises

I’ve kept you all waiting long enough.

Several months ago, we decided that in 2015 we would take on the Indian Subcontinent, a magical and fascinating part of the world. We’d started researching and plotting and our journey was taking shape.

Then, out of the blue, we received an invitation that nobody could possibly turn down. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to take a Grand Voyage by Sea to the other side of the world.

This is a one-off, a unique event, and we’re going to be on that ship!

We’ve partnered with MSC Cruises, the biggest cruise line in Europe, to share with you what it’s like to visit 2 continents, 8 countries, 13 ports, on an elegant, classical cruise ship.

I won’t give you the full details now, but soon I will be able to share our experiences, blogging live from MSC Orchestra as she crosses from the Northern Hemisphere to the Southern.

As you can imagine, there is a lot of excitement here! We are going to see more and learn more about our planet, in comfort and style. We will experience European hospitality and dining in the best Italian tradition from various far-flung and exotic locations. We will be sailing on a ship that is perfect for families. MSC is family run and family friendly, kids sail free on MSC.

Our previous cruises have been with Norwegian, an American fleet, both cruises were fantastic and I can’t say enough good things, but MSC will be different. We hope to enjoy the familiar hospitality of Italy, as we did last year in Umbria with Our Whole Village.

Sign up to follow our journey, as we bring you updates from land and sea right through to our final destination, Fremantle, Western Australia.

We’ll still be visiting India, just in a slightly different way!
