Port Elizabeth

Located along the Garden Route, Albertinia is a serene town overlooking the ocean. It is known as the home of Aloe, as the plant grows abundantly in the area. Pay a visit to the House of Aloes, where you can learn about the 17 varieties of Aloe which grow in Albertinia and even buy a seedling to grow at home.

There is also a private museum for travellers to explore. The Albertinia Museum has preserved the towns historical and cultural treasures, and now proudly displays them for locals and tourists alike to appreciate.

Cape Wine Academy

Those of you wishing to learn more about wine should enrol at the Cape Wine Academy, an institution dedicated to educating people about the refined pleasures of wine tasting.

The academy aims to educate its students about the origins of wine and the art of wine tasting, too. There is also a range of other courses which the academy offers, such as a Cocktail Course and Wine and Food Pairing Course.

Nothing could be more romantic than gazing up at the night sky and witnessing the constellations in all their splendour.
