In 2009 Qatar will welcome its first five-star golf and spa hotel thanks to a deal between Taj Hotels and Resorts and Palaces and Qatar Sports Investment Company. The development will be at the Doha Golf Club, the only PGA standard 18-hole golf course in Qatar, and will be called the Taj Exotica Golf and Spa Resort.
