Families coming to Bali with kids often look for handy activities for them, allowing mum and dad to enjoy their holiday too. Here are a couple of ideas.

Waterbom Park:

21 Cineplex: DFS Galeria Kuta
Going to the movies is fun no matter how old you are, but for days in December, when its raining outside it could be the perfect solution fore the kids. The best cinema in Bali is 21 Cineplex, located in the DFS Galeria shopping area at the big roundabout in Kuta. Its in the same complex as Planet Hollywood, so just look out for the sign if you are arriving at the roundabout. Entry is via a driveway after you head towards Nusa Dua, 50 meters away from the roundabout.

Times of movies vary but there are 4 screenings, the first starting around 1.30pm, the second around 4pm, the third around 6pm and the final screening around 8.30pm. Check the website or call to make sure.

Paradiso Bowling & Billiard Center
This center located across the street from Kuta Paradiso hotel on Jl. Kartika Plaza offer 18 lanes of bowling, 38 pool tables and food / beverages. Popular with foreign and domestic tourists alike and another idea for a wet afternoon in Kuta.

Pool tables are 27,000rp per hour, snooker 36,000rp per hour.
Bowling is 27,000rp per game and 9,000rp for shoe rental.
