TIME : 2016/2/25 14:00:51

ligoraLigora is a small lamp shop on Jl. Dhyana Pura (Abimanyu) across from Galaxy bar. When I visited a single member of staff was on duty, Seminyak feeling a bit quieter than normal right now. Ligora sells a wide range of lamps, made of glass and metal. The shop is fun to walk around, as the sizes and style of lamps varies so much. They stock everything from 6ft tall floor lamps, to hanging lamps, to candle holders, to table lamps. All the lamps are made in Bali and the owner is Balinese.

Ligora is open daily from 9am-7.30pm. The shop can accomodate wholesale orders and made to order pieces.

Prices include:
An 40cm tall table lamp for 200,000rp, a yellow 30 cm tall table lamp, with a giant spider attached, for 200,000rp, a 70cm tall lamp for 400,000rp, 30cm candle holders for 200,000rp, a 1m 80cm lamp for 1.2m rp. Other large pieces went for between 700,000-1.4m rp.

Legora would be ideal for someone looking to add character to a hallway, as a lot of the pieces here are large, creative and are as much an ornament as a lighting fixture.
