Family trip to Club Med Bali

TIME : 2016/2/27 10:56:29

IN TWO YEARS' TIME TO CELEBRATE MY 70TH BIRTHDAY WE WANT TO TAKE OUR FAMILY OVERSEAS OR ON A CRUISE SOMEWHERE CLOSE TO AUSTRALIA FOR NINE OR 10 DAYS. THERE WILL BE SEVEN ADULTS AND 10 CHILDREN RANGING FROM 20 MONTHS. WE WANT TO HAVE ALL MEALS AND ACTIVITIES ORGANISED FOR ALL AGES. IS CLUB MED BALI A GOOD OPTION OR MAYBE A CRUISE? WE WOULD BE GOING AT THE END OF SEPTEMBER OR EARLY OCTOBER.

J. NEATE,  MULLUMBIMBY

Either would be a good option but I'm leaning more in favour of Club Med Bali. Chances are that some of your family might not have cruised before and if they don't take to it, or if they suffer from seasickness, it'll spoil the fun of the occasion.

Bali is an easy flight and it gives you a wider range of possibilities. Reviews of Club Med Bali on TripAdvisor are good, prices are decent and some of its facilities are being upgraded, which will be completed well before your visit. While you could happily spend all your time at Club Med Bali, and there's plenty in-house to keep everyone entertained, Bali is a rich feast of culture, food, scenery, beaches and shopping and some of your family might want to experience this side of the island.

Since you're a large group and you're booking well in advance, you might contact the Club Med office in Sydney on 1800 258 263 and ask what sort of discount they're able to offer.
