TIME : 2016/2/24 12:03:26
Cuisines from around the globe can be sampled in Dubai with a melting pot of delicious five-star meals through to cheap roadside takeaways. Alcohol can be enjoyed with a meal within hotel restaurants and a mixture of Indian, Middle Eastern and international dishes can be enjoyed for as little or as much as you can afford.

The top eating establishments in Dubai are set aside for the wealthy with fresh seafood and dishes that almost look too good to eat served to customers expecting nothing less than the very best during their meals. The prefect side order to the food is the breathtaking views, which are often enjoyed from hundreds of feet in the air, with panoramas of the coast and city proving extremely popular.

Markets offer the cheapest way to dine in Dubai and Indian curries that are eaten at local food hawker stalls are arguably the best outside of India. Local cuisines are based around an Arabic diet with dishes such as falafel, shawarma and various breads widely available.

Chinatown

This extravagant Chinatown boasts countless eateries, takeaways and top-class restaurants to enjoy. Much of it is aimed at a high-end price range with the occasional mid-budget eatery dotted among the socially exquisite offerings.

Jumeirah

This is the most upmarket and sought-after part of the city and with its status is endless tasty restaurants serving fine cuisines from around the world. Seafood can be enjoyed in Caviar House and Prunier for those with the luxury of a large bank balance and for those not living the dream, Bulwagan is both affordable and tasty with a large Asian menu.

Hotel restaurants

Much of Dubai's culinary delights are found inside the best hotels, mainly due to liquor licensing laws, meaning that the emirate is not split into areas for dining so much as different hotels and resorts. The Indian cuisine provided by the Marco Polo Hotel's Bombay restaurant is noteworthy as is the four-star hotel itself, with a wide choice of eateries on offer from Chinese and Mexican to American and Arabic.
