Farmers markets in Hawaii are a popular gathering place for both visitors and locals alike. Hawaii has an abundant supply of fresh fruit and vegetables for you to try at the farmers markets, so don’t be shy – ask questions, take a taste, and be adventurous. At most markets, you’ll find prepared foods as well as gift items and of course, fresh produce. Don’t forget to bring along a shopping bag for your purchases, as well as a camera and your appetite!
OAHU
KCC Farmers Market – Kapiolani Community College, Saturdays, 7:30am to 11am.
Haleiwa, Ala Moana & Hawaii Kai Farmers Markets – Saturdays (Hawaii Kai & Ala Moana) & Sundays (Haleiwa), 9am to 1pm.
Kailua Farmers Market – Kailua Town Center, Thursdays, 5pm to 7:30pm.

Keauhou Farmers Market – Keauhou Shopping Center, Saturdays, 8am to noon.
Hilo Farmers Market – Mamo St. & Kamehameha Ave., Wed & Sat, 6am to 4pm.
Kona Farmers Market – Alii Drive, Wed-Sun, 7am to 4pm.

MAUI
Here is the most updated list of farmers markets on Maui by the Maui County Farm Bureau. As of January 2011, a plastic bag ban went into effect in Maui county, so be prepared and bring your own reusable bag along to carry your farmers market finds.
KAUAI
Kauai has a variety of farmers markets called Kauai Sunshine Markets. Like Maui, Kauai enacted a plastic bag ban in January 2011, so make sure to pack a reusable tote with you.
