Romantic Restaurants in Las Vegas

TIME : 2016/2/25 16:00:58

For most people, the perfect romantic restaurant offers a mix of high quality, flavorful cuisine and an intimate, personal atmosphere and vibe. There is no shortage of restaurants in Las Vegas that offer a setting ideal for an evening spent with your special someone.

If you are planning a romantic getaway to Las Vegas (for Valentine’s Day or some other special occasion), there are several restaurants on the Strip, in downtown Las Vegas and in other parts of town that are worthy of your attention. We recommend you make reservations in advance if possible to ensure your seat at one of these romantic restaurants.

Nove Italiano

Though Palms is located off of the Strip, one of the resort’s star restaurants, Nove Italiano, is nothing short of spectacular when it comes to fine dining with a view. Pasta, seafood and salad adorn the menu at Nove Italiano, and Chef Geno Bernardo is behind the scenes ensuring that your meal is made to order. Though the contemporary and swanky interior—including hand-crafted LED Swarovski chandeliers—is noteworthy in and of itself, it is the view across the city that makes for a truly romantic evening.

Entree prices are around $40.00 per plate for a pasta dish.

Japonais

It may not be an original Las Vegas restaurant (you can also find them in Chicago and New York City), but Japonais at the Mirage is a generous mix of high quality food, memorable dining experience and appealing atmosphere. The extensive Japanese menu includes plenty of fresh seafood, the finest cuts of beef, maki mono and a variety of sushi options. For the most romantic setting, request to sit on the bridge at the restaurant, which overlooks the gardens at the Mirage.

The restaurant offers a dinner for two menu for $45.00, which includes two appetizers, an entree and a dessert. Take advantage of early evening and late night happy hours for discounts on food and drinks.

FIREFLY Tapas & Kitchen Bar

Less is more at FIREFLY Tapas & Kitchen Bar, which offers an array of small dishes for you and your loved one to share. Though there are a few FIREFLY dining establishments located throughout the Las Vegas valley, it’s the one located at The Plaza downtown that is arguably the most romantic. The restaurant is encased in glass and looks out over Fremont Street, which is lit up in an array of colors at night.

Plates run from $3.50-$10.00 each, and two or three plates a person is generally sufficient.

Koi

Like Japonais, Koi is not native to Las Vegas, but this restaurant, located in Planet Hollywood, is inspired by traditional Japanese cuisine with a modern California accent. The restaurant serves a wide variety of sushi and sashimi; a number of signature dishes turn first-time customers into return visitors. If you prefer your seafood prepared in a different manner, the restaurant also offers a complete dinner menu with hot dishes, salads and side dishes. Koi’s decor exudes an exotic Eastern aura with its hand-crafted details, but it is the view of the Bellagio fountains that top off a romantic evening.

The average check at Koi is $60.00 per person.

Delmonico Steakhouse

There are a lot of steakhouses in Las Vegas, so the fact that Delmonico Steakhouse at the Venetian is considered by many to be the best steakhouse in Las Vegas says a lot about it. Chef Emeril Lagasse runs the ship at this Las Vegas restaurant, and his expertise has led to numerous dining and wine awards. Come for the top-of-the-line beef cuts and wine, but stay for the romantic atmosphere.

Entree prices are $40.00-$60.00 per plate.

Top of the World Restaurant

Though the Stratosphere in general is a bit dated, the view from the top of the tower never grows old. Located more than 800 feet above Las Vegas Boulevard, Top of the World Restaurant is the city’s only revolving restaurant, offering 360-degree views of the entire city every 80 minutes. The food is considered better than most on the Strip, though you really are paying for the view. You’ll find fresh seafood and steaks on the menu among other entrees, as well as an extensive wine list. Finish your meal with one of the restaurant’s delectable desserts, such as flourless lava cake or banana bread pudding.

Entree prices are $40.00-$60.00 per plate.

Eiffel Tower Restaurant

It’s little surprise that the view at Eiffel Tower Restaurant is one of the best on the Strip. Towering high above all the action on Las Vegas Boulevard, this is the place mid-Strip to get an awesome view of the city while dining on fine French cuisine. With a front row seat to the Bellagio fountains, this restaurant is made for a romantic meal. The menu at Eiffel Tower Restaurant consists of a seafood platter, beef, rack of lamb and a selection of souffles.

Entrees can be purchased ala carte, or take advantage of a tasting menu for $98.00 per person.

Ferraro’s

Located off of the Strip on Paradise Road, Ferraro’s has received accolades for its food, wine and service. Homemade pasta, sauces and breads are the highlight at this Italian restaurant, but the restaurant also offers a selection of seafood and steak dishes as well. A wide selection of wine tops off any meal at Ferraro’s. The restaurant itself is elegantly appointed with classic decor and bold colors.

Pasta entrees run from $20.00-$40.00 per person.

The Country Club

Known as much for its atmosphere and picturesque views of the golf course at the Wynn as it is for its food, The Country Club offers a traditional country club atmosphere for lunch but converts into an American steakhouse after hours. Many people like The Country Club for the sophisticated but elegant atmosphere it embodies, and those looking for a romantic outing will feel comfortable here.

Mon Ami Gabi

Mon Ami Gabi is a classic French bistro located at Paris Las Vegas. Again, a front-and-center view of the Bellagio fountains is one of the stand-out qualities that makes this restaurant romantic. Authentic Paris outdoor seating provides guests with the feeling that they are miles away from the busy Las Vegas Strip. The menu offers a variety of options but Gabi’s classics include roast chicken and frites, a market vegetable platter, prime cheeseburger and beef bourguignon.

Entree prices range from $25.00-$40.00.
