wildlife-habitat1The main attraction at Flamingo Las Vegas is the Wildlife Habitat, but there are plenty other interesting things to check out here. It offers everything from spa to a golf course, shopping and everything in between.

Wildlife Habitat

Flamingo Las Vegas is home to a flock of live Chilean Flamingos. But the Wildlife Habitat also serves as home for other feathered guests. And you’ll also find swans, ducks, koi, and turtles populating these grounds.

Alexandra Salon

The salon is located inside the valet entrance to Flamingo Las Vegas. It is open from Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The hairstylists and cosmetologists are here for you to offer a professional makeover or just specialized services, such as facials, manicures, pedicures and eyebrow sculpting. The barber shop welcomes the male guests with everything from old-fashioned straight razor shaves to the latest technologies in styling.

Spa & Fitness Center

It is open daily from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. It is perfect for those who want a good workout and those who need some relaxation. The workout room features the most advanced exercise machines, free weights, free climbers, resistance machines and treadmills. The Spa is equipped with whirlpool tubs, wet and dry saunas and steam rooms. Massage prices start at $110, facials cost from $130 and the waxing services start at $20. Special packages are available.

Golf

The guests of Harrah’s Entertainment’s enjoy preferred access to two golf courses: Casacata Golf and Rio Secco Golf. They also can get premier golf instruction at the Butch Harmon School of Golf.

Casacata Golf, ranked one of the top 100 modern courses in America and the #2 course in Nevada by Golfweek magazine, provides some excellent vistas. Green fees range from $350-$500 depending on the season. Reservations are required.

Rio Secco Golf , named the #1 public course in Nevada by Las Vegas PGA, is located just 12 minutes south of the Las Vegas Strip. Green fees include shared golf cart, access to the practice facilities, bottled water, and divot tool and start at $75 per person during the holidays and at $100 per person for the rest of the year. Reservations are required.

Pool and Go Pool

Set among a tropical retreat, the pools at The Flamingo interconnect through the lagoons and around a magnificent cascading waterfall and seasonal waterslide. Lifeguards are on duty and a staff of pool attendants is available to provide towel services. The private cabanas feature a LCD TV, mini fridge, and a personal host.

The Beach Club Café, Poolside BBQ and the three beach bars offer the perfect places to eat a light meal and enjoy a beverage. The season opens in March and the pools are open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

GO Pool is an exclusive adult pool. It offers ultra VIP service and DJ spin music mixes. Guests can choose among cabanas and poolside lounges. Those renting a cabana benefit from the bottle service, cocktail service and excellent food. Guests must be at least 21 years old. The GO pool is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $10 (for men) during the weekdays and $20 during the weekends

Tennis Courts

There are four courts available for the guests and they are open from 7 a.m. to 7 a.m. (weekdays) and 6 p.m. (weekends). Professional tennis instructors are available.
