M Resort Unveils Dining Options

TIME : 2016/2/25 16:09:21

M Resort Las Vegas RestaurantsJust south of the main Strip area of S. Las Vegas Blvd, lies the M Resort project, which is set to be completed by March 1st, 2008. Today the company sent out a press release detailing the property’s restaurants and bar areas, and I have to say several of them sound intriguing.

In an era of star chef-owned restaurants populating Vegas restaurants, M Resort will own and manage all of its dining outlets.

“We believe food is one of the most, if not the most important reason why guests will visit the property,” said Chairman and CEO Anthony A. Marnell, III. “The restaurants that we have developed will introduce a new kind of dining experience that reflects my family’s reputation for great food and great value.”

In today’s economy, he may be right about why guests will visit from the start. With tourism dollars down, opening a new resort so far from the main area of the Strip means success lies just as much with attracting the locals as it does the visitors. And new restaurants will definitely be as much an attraction as the gambling to some.

Here’s a rundown of the dining and drinking options that will be available at the new M Resort when it opens:

Baby Cakes

This European-inspired pastisserie led by Chef Jean-Claude Canestrier will offer pastries, cakes, chocolates, cannolis, rum cakes, jelly rolls, a variety of coffees plus homemade gelatos and artisan breads, customized cakes and classic tiered wedding cakes.

Baby Cakes will be open Sunday-Thursday from 6am to 10pm and Friday-Saturday 6am to midnight.

Hostile Grape

As the name suggests, this is the resort’s wine cellar and tasting room.

Enjoy over 120 wines by the glass from areas around the world via a unique wine dispensing method that allows guests to load up a card with credits that can be redeemed at machines offering pours of one, three and five ounces at set prices.

The Hostile Grape will be open Sunday-Thursday from 3pm to 11pm and Friday-Saturday from 3pm to 1am

Marinelli’s

This restaurant specializes in authentic Italian dishes including risottos, handmade pastas, seafood specialties, steaks, chops and veal dishes as well as selections from the Marnell family recipe book. The restaurant will also serve wines from the Marnell family private label.

Seating is available indoors and outdoors on a terrace overlooking the Villaggio Del Sole pool.

Marinelli’s will be open nightly for dinner only, from 5pm to 11pm

Piazza Grille

This seasonal outdoor dining area will serve up quick bites like tacos, pizza, burgers and more from April through October, weather permitting.

Red Cup Cafe

This 24-hour diner will offer round-the-clock breakfast options, traditional American classics, Asian cuisine and South of the Border favorites in a 1920′s art-deco inspired decor.

Restaurant Veloce Cibo & Bar Veloce

This fine dining restaurant aims to combine an extensive menu appetizers, entrees, sushi, sashimi and nigiri with amazing views of the Las Vegas skyline via floor-to-ceiling windows and outdoor terrace.

The accompanying Bar Veloce shares the upper floor views of the city and offers an upscale lounge vibe with specialty drinks and other beverages.

Veloce Cibo and Bar Veloce will be open Tuesday-Thursday for dinner from 5pm to 11pm and Friday-Saturday from 5pm to 2am

Studio B

Those addicted to the Food Network should like this one.

BIlled as a “show kitchen buffet,” this eatery melds a buffet-style restaurant with a live-action cooking studio concept. Offering upscale food options via buffet, including apatisserie dessert area, along with beer and wine selections at no additional cost, guests will also be entertained by live cooking and technique demonstrations. These will also be broadcast on 110′x6′ video monitors for repeat viewing.

Think of it as a dinner-and-show option for foodies.

Studio B will be open for breakfast Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 10:30am; lunch from 10:30am to 2:30pm; dinner Sunday-Thursday from 4pm to 10pm; seafood dinner Friday-Saturday from 4pm to 10pm and brunch Saturday-Sunday from 8am to 2:30pm

Terzetto and the Oyster Bar

The main part of Terzetto will offer a menu heavy on charcoal-grilled steak and seafood offerings in a fine dining atmosphere.

Its companion Oyster Bar will offer more casual dining with made-to-order selections including soups, stews and pan favorites, oysters on the half shell, seafood salads, cocktails, ceviche and pastas.

Terzetto and the Oyster Bar will serve dinner nightly from 5pm to 11pm

32 Draft

Enjoy over 90 beers on tap at this bar area located next to the race and sports book.

32 Draft will be open 8am-11pm Sunday through Thursdays, and 24 hours on Fridays and Saturdays.

Vig Deli

Grab a quick bite at this eatery that will offer hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, BBQ, pizza, chili, soups and homemade desserts.

Located next to the race and sports book, Vig Deli will be open daily from 8am to 10pm
