Andre Agassi Brings Grand Slam for Children to MGM Grand Las VegasOne of the biggest annual events in Las Vegas is Andre Agassi’s Grand Slam for Children charity event and this year looks to be the biggest, most celeb packed yet.

This year’s event will take place October 6 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Some names that have been announced as performers include: Tony Bennett, Matchbox Twenty, Carlos Santana, Kelly Clarkson, Jerry Seinfeld and George Wallace, who regularly performs at the Flamingo. Grammy award-winning producer, arranger and composer David Foster, who is on the charity’s Board of Directors, will return once again for his 12th year as musical director.

In the eleven years that tennis legend Andre Agassi has been holding this event, his charity has raised over $61 million to help at-risk youth in Las Vegas, his hometown.

Individual tickets are $50, $70 and $90. Reservations for tables are available on a first-come, first-served basis; a non-refundable 50-percent deposit is required. Available tables are: Gold, $17,500; Platinum, $40,000; and Diamond, $85,000. Each table includes a cocktail reception, gourmet dinner, gift item, live auction and concert for 10.
