Jo Malone

In 1994, Jo Malone opened her first store on Walton Street, where she would grow her London-based brand into a global company. “I’ve always been around this neighborhood, so it feels very much like home,” she says. She sold her business to Estée Lauder in 2006, but her creative spark found a new outlet in Jo Loves, whose Elizabeth Street flagship store in Knightsbridge has a fragrance bar serving tapas-style scent samplers.

Jeroboams

“This full-service wine shop’s manager, Granville Murray, is so knowledgeable. I often ask him to select a couple of bottles to complement a dinner party menu. He is also my go-to when I need a gift wrapped and hand-delivered.”

Louise Kennedy

“This is one of the best places to buy clothes. I’ve been doing lots of speaking engagements lately, and Louise knows just how to dress me for them. I recently bought a wonderful cocktail dress— you steam it and it’s ready to wear.”

Mosimann’s

“I started eating here when I was launching the Jo Malone brand 21 years ago, and it’s remained part of my life ever since. It’s where I go for a treat, rather than every week. Anton Mosimann, the founder, is a real gentleman and so clever with food.”

Neill Strain Floral Couture

“Neill’s store is always alive with the most incredible blossoms and foliage. I love visiting during the Chelsea Flower Show, when his shop window is at its most creative. It feels like entertainment, rather than just flowers.”
