Hotel Spa Picks for Miami Spa Month

Miami Spas: Carillon Hotel & Spa

Miami’s already a vacation destination, but this month, it ups the ante when it launches Spa Month, starting July 1. The annual citywide affair, coordinated by the Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, offers discounts at local spas—many services are priced at $99—and special packages for the next two months, ending August 31. We’ve highlighted the first-rate hotel spas participating in the promotion, but you can find a full list and book services here.

Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove, one of Miami’s oldest neighborhoods, has a forward-thinking spa at the local Ritz-Carlton: for $99, guests can have an 80-minute Swedish massage or a 75-minute facial and Swedish massage. This is the place to spring for pleasure, and here, $129 gets you the “Ritz-Carlton Signature Spa with Enhancements”—which includes a deep tissue upgrade, always a welcome addition.

Downtown Miami

The Mandarin Oriental is close to the frantic buzz of Miami’s business district, but the spa atmosphere is beyond soothing. A 50-minute de-stress massage, or a hydrafacial express, is $129. During Miami Spa Month, guests who book a massage or facial can have a 90-minute Mandarin Oriental manicure and pedicure for $75.

Miami Beach

The Carillon Hotel & Spa (pictured) is offering discounts of more than 50% on spa, fitness, and wellness services. For $99, spa devotees can have a 50-minute restorative massage or a 50-minute Vitali-C facial, and even a coconut milk & honey manicure and pedicure. For $75, guests get all-day access to the Carillon Spa, with wellness lectures, 40 classes, and four pools.

At Lapis, The Spa at Fontainebleau, a Swedish Rubdown Massage—normally $155— is $99; as is a pore-perfecting facial, usually $145. Guests also have access to the “rain tunnel,” with multiple water jets massaging the body.

Sunny Isles

At Acqualina Spa by ESPA, treatments during Miami Spa Month also begin at $99, including a 50-minute Swedish massage and a 50-minute skin radiance facial. For $129, a 50-minute refining enzyme facial makes a fitting prelude for a day of steam rooms and swimming.
