A recent tourist snapshot at the Brooklyn Bridge has raised concerns over the city's security measures. This wasn't just any photo op: selfie stick in hand, Chatanoogo resident David Karnauch scaled the landmark on Monday in search of the perfect photo. According to Karnauch, climbing the bridge was surprisingly simple. "You could just get on a beam and it actually had handrails on the left and right side, and I just walked across the bridge and turned around to take a picture," he told NBC 4 New York.

According to the same write-up on NBC 4 New York, there are more than 127,100 bycicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists crossing the bridge every day making its safety a priority for locals and tourists alike. Other daredevils have been charged with community service for similar tricks. Since there were no officers patrolling that area of the bridge at the time of the photo, Karnauch got away with his photo.
