There are studio spaces for artists and craftspeople in this fabulous art-deco building, once a cinema, including that of blacksmith Conrad Hicks (www.blacksmith.co.za). Some of his work is on display in shopfront gallery here, which shares space with a branch of the cafe Origin.
Many of the artist studios open up to the public during Art Week at the end of November or early December.
