Kidike Sanctuary is home to some 4000 popo (bats), the island’s biggest roosting site. There's a large population here due to the proximity of a local burial site, which meant the colony was undisturbed. Kidike is 3.5km off the Chake–Wete road. Some people at the junction will hire their bicycles or you can wait for a lift.
