Wòlóng Nature Reserve

TIME : 2016/2/17 11:56:10

China's leading panda conservation centre, Wòlóng Nature Reserve, 140km northwest of Chéngdū, suffered devastating damage in the 2008 Sìchuān earthquake. It continues to do ground-breaking work, successfully releasing a male panda born in captivity into the wild in 2013, but the reserve is still closed indefinitely to the public and roads from Chéngdū are in poor condition. Check with Chéngdū hostels for the latest.
