A Facebook campaign has been started by some residents and fans to save Kurokawa Kisho's early-1970s building, which is a seminal work of Metabolist architecture. The tower's self-contained pods, which can be removed whole from a central core and replaced elsewhere, are in various states of decay but it's still a very impressive design.
