Situated 8km north of the city centre is the hilltop Kuching North City Hall (known by its Malay abbreviation, DBKU), a landmark prestige project – some say it looks like a UFO – inaugurated in 1993. As well as being a local council building, the Cat Museum is on the ground floor.
To get here, take bus K15 from the Saujana bus station . If you’re going to the Santubong Peninsula by car, you can stop here on the way.
