This was the Selangor sultan’s palace before the capital was moved to Shah Alam. You can’t enter but the pleasant park opposite offers a decent view.
Head out of the train along Jalan Stesyn and continue walking as the road heads up the hill. The Istana Alam Shah is on the left across from a park.
