This appealing little museum contains a well-laid-out collection of archaeological finds, traditional clothing, religious artefacts and taxidermied examples of aimag wildlife. You may spot a wind instrument made of a human femur and a jade chess set, but the museum's most valued piece is the original painting of Lenin meeting Sükhbaatar, a classic work of myth-making, painted by B Tsultem in 1953.
