Bahay Nakpil

TIME : 2016/2/17 15:54:55

Built in 1914, this beautiful ancestral home is the former residence of Perona Nakpil, the widow of Andrés Bonifacio – the father of the Philippine Revolution – where she lived after his death. As well as an insight into the grandeur of pre-war Manila, the museum provides history of the Ilustrados and Katipunan – the anti-Spanish revolutionist movement. It's located in a crowded backstreet accessed across the main road from Quiapo Church.
