Chalong, 9km north of Rawai, is home to Phuket's only working distillery, launched by a young French couple who bonded over booze – rum, in particular. Upon arrival, you'll be awarded a mojito concocted with their delicious product to sip on the 30-minute tour. They recommend reserving ahead, mostly because you'll need directions. About 3km north of Chalong Circle, turn east at the signs to the zoo; it's signposted shortly after.
