The museum in the lower level of the strikingly designed Ubon Ratchathani Art & Culture Centre at Rajabhat University contains a lot more cultural references than the National Museum. There are some relatively recent displays such as a room on Ubon's famous forest monks, including some of their teachings in English, herbal medicines, music, costumes and a lot of sculpted candles.
