Casa de la Diversidad

TIME : 2016/2/18 9:36:44

Impossible to miss due to its exuberantly diverse facade (a mix of Moorish and neoclassical elements), this new museum's best exhibit is the building itself. You can skirt the four exhibition rooms dedicated to slavery, costumes, art and architecture relatively quickly, but you'll want to dawdle in the ornate lobby with its soaring pillars. Pride of place, however, goes to the toilets (yes, toilets !) where intricate frescos have been uncovered. The ladies is the most ornate.
