This grand open space, opened in 2002, is a fine place for a stroll or a spot of people-watching over a takeaway pattie. Check out the controversial statue Redemption Song, by Laura Facey Cooper. It depicts a couple of nude, 3m-tall slaves gazing to the heavens – play art critic and pass approving or prurient comments as you see fit.
