Antwerp Port

TIME : 2016/2/18 16:37:29

Beautiful it ain’t. But its sheer jaw-dropping scale makes driving through this historic port an unforgettable experience. It's the world’s fourth-largest port complex (Europe’s second after Rotterdam) and a surreal industrial-age maze of cranes, loading yards, container stacks, docks, pipes, rail lines, warehouses and petrochemical refineries. These stretch to the Dutch border, all neatly spaced amid the remnants of grassy polder fields.

Flandria offers short/long harbour cruises from 't Eilandje, going as far as Boudewijnsluis/Delwaidedok, respectively. The ticket booth opens half an hour before departure. No prebookings except for groups.
