This mosque was originally built as the 14th-century Church of St Catherine but now functions as an art gallery. It’s the second most important Gothic structure in North Nicosia after the Selimiye Mosque. The ornate sculptures, both inside and out, sprout gargoyles, dragons, shields and human heads.
