True to its name, Københavns Museum in Vesterbro has displays about the history and development of Copenhagen – mainly paintings and scale models of the old city. There is a small room dedicated to 19th-century, Copenhagen-born philosopher Søren Kierkegaard, as well as eclectic temporary exhibitions spanning anything from recent archaeological finds to garbage in the city.
