Pleasurewood Hills

With more than 40 rides and shows for all ages, and an idyllic setting, stretching over 50 acres along the Great Yarmouth coast, Pleasurewood Hills has long been a top destination for a family day out, and recent refurbishments have brought it bang up to date. Pleasurewood is the largest theme park in East England and there’s something for everyone, from spinning teacups, chairlifts and a driving ‘school’ for the littlest members of the family, to hair-raising rollercoasters (including the Wipeout, the region’s biggest and fastest rollercoaster), a log flume and the scary HoBs PiT ride for older kids and adults.
There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained for an entire day and once you’ve tackled the big thrill rides, you can challenge the kids to a game of Laser Labyrinth, ride the miniature railway, take a relaxing pedal boat cruise around the lake or indulge in some old-fashioned fun with a ride on the Ferris Wheel or the high-powered Hyper Drive Dodgems. There’s also a range of restaurants and cafés on-site, plus indoor and outdoor children’s play areas, and daily Sea Lion and Parrot shows.
