Musée National Eugène Delacroix

TIME : 2016/2/18 17:58:32

In a courtyard off a magnolia-shaded square, this was the romantic artist’s home and studio at the time of his death in 1863, and contains a collection of his oil paintings, watercolours, pastels and drawings, including many of his more intimate works, such as An Unmade Bed (1828) and his paintings of Morocco.

A Musée du Louvre ticket allows entry to the museum on the same day (you can also buy tickets here and skip the Louvre's queues).

As well as the Musée du Louvre, you can see Delacroix’s works at the Musée d’Orsay and frescoes at Église St-Sulpice.
