Established in 1871, the botanical PalmenGarten (palm garden) is filled with historic tropical hothouses, rose gardens, playgrounds for kids, a pond with row boats (May to September) and a mini-gauge train. Open-air concerts take place here in summer. There’s a second entrance on Palmengartenstrasse.
