Frederick the Great's final building project was this temple-like Belvedere, modelled on Nero's palace in Rome. The panorama of park, lakes and Potsdam is predictably fabulous from up here. The upstairs hall has an impressive frescoed dome, oak parquet and fanciful stucco marble.
