St Bartholomew's Church, at the northeastern end of Fő tér, was built in the 14th century and is the largest Gothic church in Hungary. You’d hardly know it though, with the baroque restoration (including an unusual upper-storey gallery inside) that was carried out 400 years later. Look for the twin Gothic-arch windows on each side, which are original.
