The thickly wooded Woodstock Gardens is a beauty of a park with flower terraces, a walled garden, an arboretum, picnic areas, walking trails and a cafe. The panorama of the valley and village below is spectacular. From Inistioge, follow Main St (opposite the Woodstock Arms) for 1km to signs for Woodstock Estate and enter the large gates (despite appearances, it’s a public road) then continue along the road for another 2km until you reach the car park.
