Arsenāls Exhibition Hall

TIME : 2016/2/18 22:30:56

Behind a row of spooky granite heads depicting Latvia's most prominent artists, the imperial arsenal, constructed in 1832 to store weapons for the Russian tzar's army, is now a prime spot for international and local art exhibitions, which makes it worth a visit whenever you are in Rīga. Also check out the massive wooden stairs at the back of the building – their simple yet funky geometry predates modern architecture.
