Town Hall

TIME : 2016/2/18 22:32:42

Rīga's historic town hall was destroyed in WWII and rebuilt from scratch in 2003. A statue of St Roland , the city’s patron, takes pride of place on the square in front of it. It, too, is a replica of the original, erected in 1897, which now stands in St Peter’s. You can walk in, if only to see a mildly interesting exhibition of presents given by visiting delegations of partner cities.
